The Bay-Tec electric retract range is designed to keep retract installations simple and reliable with great value for money. Electric retracts remove all the hassle normally associated with air retract plumbing or getting a mechanical linkage to fit exactly.
This mains retract set includes two retract units that are designed to accept 4mm wire legs and is suitable for models with a maximum weight of 3kg.
These retracts can be used in both electric and engine powered models. They are designed to primarily use the power supplied through the receiver. This can come from the battery in the case of engine models, or a BEC system in electric models. If you use heavier wheels/legs or have lots of drag on the leg doors, then current consumption is increased.
Each unit has built-in over-current protection. If the leg is stopped in any way during movement, or the load is too high to protect the retract from damaging or drawing too much current.
